Mizuho Financial Group has come forward with an announcement that it would, sponsor Neutrino, Japan’s first block chain co-working space established by Omise Japan.
This March ‘Neutrino’ a blockchain based co-working space was established by Omise Japan in Tokyo. Neutrino is expected to promote blockchain ecosystem in Japan by accelerating research for streamlining operations using blockchain technology. It’s a gain for Omise, which is a Thai based startup having Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin among its advisors. It closed a $25 million ICO last year to develop a decentralized payments platform Omisego.
The co-working space is intended to advance research to successfully implement blockchain technology and cryptocurrency into business and services.
Neutrino is providing a place to Entrepreneurs, businesses, regulators and cryptocurrency leaders to get connected and explore the use cases of blockchain technology. There will be various discussions, events, meet ups and workshops targeting the operational implementations of blockchain tech in real business and services.
Besides sponsoring Neutrino, Mizuho will be a long term tenant of the co-working space. In an official statement Mizuho said :
